I have to wait another week or two before Six Flags re-opens and I can start working again (sitting at home is killing me slowly). Luckily I have moneys coming to me.

It's hard being so far apart from someone you love. Hopefully she won't get swamped by college since we only get to see each other once every two weeks at best.
**EDIT** I get to see her this Saturday! This is worth editing for because it makes me happy. :3

So I finished my first week of real work (and walked away from training the week before with $75). Standing for 6-8 hours kills my legs, but it's worth it when I go to collect on Friday. I just wish MORE PEOPLE WOULD BUY CRAP! erkgnlqwekngkqneglknelgnlegnql
It's not even about them spending their money so much as me having something to do.

On the upside, I do get to see animals like porcupines, turtles, and parrots every now and then. Watching the turtle walk is like "ZOMG! TURTLE!" XD
And seeing the parrot crack open a walnut is priceless.

So I kinda ninja'd this book from my parents' house (The 5th Horseman - James Patterson) and I've been getting started on reading it. I'm hoping it's as good as the last 4.

As it is, I'm poor as hell. Almost as poor as ! T_T (This statement is funny because he has a job now and I don't.) So I'm making it a priority to get a job, and quick! I almost can't stand sitting at home every day just playing games, eating, and sleeping (it sounds nice at first, but it's terribly, terribly frustrating). If any of you in my area, and you know who you are, know of anything besides Six Flags, tell me so I can stop being a bum. D:

So my life has been a bit more hectic than usual and I found myself away from home more often than not. Luckily the event which occupied so much of my time is finally over and I can now settle back down at home and...

Do nothing?
Since I missed this semester's sign-up I need to find a job pretty fast. Slackers aren't tolerated in my house unless the authorities themselves are slacking. So now I get to sit at home every day and play games/draw/job hunt in that order.

I'm working on getting a scanner for myself and not relying on anyone else's. So expect some long-overdue updates!

So I've been doing exactly what I said I wouldn't. I've been taking something of a break, which I'd rather not do, but find myself doing anyways. I allow it because if I force myself to draw things it starts to become a chore and not something I love doing.
I've hit that point in life where I'm just getting out of High School and moving on to college. Now I need to get a job, pay for an apartment that I'll be renting out with my brother and best friend, and sign up for college classes. What a year this'll be...
On the bright side, I've been getting a lot of ideas lately. Watching Zoids again has made me realize how much I've been neglecting anime/manga in general.

Hopefully I can get back into the swing of things soon. I'm kinda eager to get back to regularly submitting to DA.
